CPSP. Godfred Mbanyi holds a Master of Science Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration in Procurement and Logistics Management, both from Mzumbe University, Morogoro. He is professionally qualified with a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional – CPSP award and registered under Authorized category with the Registration Number AU 0028. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership from Alto University-Finland in collaboration with the Uongozi Institute, Tanzania.

Furthermore, he is a registered Member of the Institute of Directors of Tanzania (IoDT) with Reg. No. MIoDT 207

CPSP. Mbanyi has over 27 years working experience in both public and private sectors in Tanzania, including AtlasCopco – EA as Procurement and Logistics Assistant, and Mzumbe University Morogoro as Assistant Lecturer. Before his appointment as Executive Directore, CPSP. Mbanyi held various managerial positions at PSPTB such as; Business Development Manager, Director of Professional Development, and Director of Training.
CPSP. Mbanyi served as a member of the CBE Governing Board from January 2018 to January 2021, Member of Mzumbe University Senate from July 2019 to June 2022, and a member of NACTE Subjects Board from November 2019 to October 2022.
